Where were you in 1976? America was 200 years old, the Viking I Robot made the first ever successful landing on mars, and T&L Equipment Sales Co. Inc. opened its doors!

When the doors of T&L Equipment opened, self-service laundries were run with quarters - today they also use SmartCard technology, Credit & Debit cards as well as dollar coins. The average store was 800 square feet. Today the market is filled with 5,000 square foot "mega stores".

At T&L Equipment, we feel the best way to stay on top and serve our customers is too stick with a consistent plan to provide excellent service and keep up-to-date on the newest technology.

IMG1530bsmT&L Equipment served the "Mom and Pop" type stores during the early 70's - stores that operated with a lock, key and a physical presence. Now we work with the newest technologies and designs allowing owners to precisely program equipment, monitor equipment usage and cash flow from a central location by computer.

This technology has developed the latest marketing strategies in the industry with features like "Time of Day & Time of Week Pricing," Customer Loyalty Rewards and providing add-ons to wash cycles to boost store income. These strategies have proven to increase traffic flow and create a competitive advantage.

In the 1990's, T&L added T&L Business Solutions and began expanding by offering more services like brokering stores for customers and consultation services including site-selection, finance packaging and building and equipping self-service laundries.

To stay competitive and on top of the industry, T&L remains active in the laundry industry's national trade association, and constantly monitors proposed legislative actions affecting the industry. Company representatives attend industry and manufacturer seminars on the latest technological developments, and customers are offered training through service and maintenance schools on the equipment sold by T&L.

At T&L Equipment, we know the major part of our success is due to our customers. Over the past 40 years, we have been fortunate to work with outstanding leaders in the industry, and with customers who know what they need, and continue to come to T&L to get it.
