One of the great benefits of the bulkheads we choose to use is that inspectors trust them. They notice the UL approval on the bulkhead and know they can immediately approve it and move on to the rest of the building. There's never a delay in inspection due to the bulkheads.

Sometimes, other companies use drainage troughs that are welded in-house by a distributor. When this is the case, they'll usually look misshapen on the first day of use and continue to worsen over time. Again, this is why we choose to use a manufacturer for equipment. It guarantees a great product.
Metal drain troughs are subject to corrosion from bleach water (even if they are stainless steel) and therefore have leakage. Over time, they just get worse. There is typically always an odor coming from them because they are open on the top, much like a drainage ditch.
